The difference between killing and letting die lies in the intention, even though some argue that they are the same given that all other factors are the same. However, the reality is that other factors and never the same, with letting die, in the case of euthanasia, being equivalent to a willingness to help, which does not always have a negative connotation. Killing, however, often entails the desire to inflict pain and suffering.
