The matter under discussion is a complicated and sensitive one. Kaitlyn Schoen claims that Justice Holmes’ opinion was justified and that Freedom of Speech could be restricted in case of danger. I, too, personally feel that Justice Holmes’ opinion had its reasons dictated by the situation in the country at the time, even though I do not necessarily agree with his position. Thus, Justice Holmes’ position is justified, though not from a moral standpoint.
