Can Public Deliberation Be Considered a Useful Process?

Do you think that public deliberation is a useful process, and why?

If you think that it is, under what circumstances would you like to see it used? Could it help to improve trust in the government? How do you feel about the discussion of whether there is always a difference between killing and letting die? Is it a legitimate line to draw? Is one always preferable to the other? Is there something in particular that struck you and you would like to say something about/ discuss? Please share your thoughts.
