Grand strategies are crucial parts of Porter’s Generic Strategy as they include updated ideas on how the marketplace can be improved and what new techniques should be included to stay competitive. As a CEO of the FedEx corporation, I would introduce such grand strategies as the creation of unique services which increase customer loyalty and willingness to pay more for their convenience.

David et al. state that strategic management and successful control under all organization processes should be structured and specific. All goals should have time frames and be achievable. Consequently, as a CEO, I would pay more attention to the areas that attract customers more and which services are not actively used to reduce workload and make workers devote more time to consumer issues.
