The operating system of computer-like devices, for me, is important for two main reasons or functions. The first key function is the management of processes. This function allows a device to function in a certain order in the most effective way so that its process would be fast and correct. I think that this function is among the most significant because it is hardly manageable via manual efforts while remaining the key to the success of operations.

The other important function is probably program execution; after process management, the operating system provides the work of the programs. This function is the main manufacturing process that makes all the actions on a device possible to work. Therefore, the most important area of work for the operating system is the process management and program execution.
