Having triumphantly won, Marduk divided the responsibilities of rolling the Earth among the gods. However, Marduk collected bones and blood to create a savage, further called a man, “his job will be to serve the gods so that they may rest at ease.” Therefore, the God of the Earth decided to create the humans from the rebel’s, Kingu’s, body to punish him. Finally, the humans were educated on the fact their primary purpose was to serve gods.
